General betting conditions
By opening an account, accessing a betting service or placing a wager, you agree to follow the rules that apply to the relevant product, event, game or market. Rules may vary depending on the type of bet, the sport or event involved, whether betting is available before or during an event, and any specific market information shown on the website. The rules displayed at the time of betting form an important part of the agreement between you and Two Up Casino.
You must be legally permitted to gamble in Australia and must provide accurate information when registering and using your account. You may be asked to complete identity, age, location or verification checks. An account must be used only by the person to whom it belongs. You must keep your login details secure and must not allow another person to place bets or access betting functions through your account.
Only one bet should be submitted for each intended wager. A bet is generally treated as accepted when it has been successfully recorded in the betting system and a confirmation or bet reference is displayed. Selecting a price, market or stake does not, by itself, guarantee that a bet has been accepted. If a bet is not recorded, it should not be treated as valid, even if an intended selection or amount appeared on the screen.
Prices, odds, lines and other betting information may change before a bet is accepted. Where a confirmation of changed odds or terms is presented, you may need to accept the change before the wager is submitted. The accepted price and the details shown in your account or bet history are the reference for settlement, subject to these rules and any applicable product-specific conditions.
- Check the event, selection, market, price, stake and potential return before confirming a bet.
- Do not rely solely on a bet slip that has not been confirmed by the betting system.
- Keep your account information current and respond to reasonable verification requests.
- Do not place a bet on behalf of another person or allow another person to use your account.
- Review your bet history regularly and raise any concern as soon as possible.
Markets, events and settlement
Each market has a specific outcome or settlement method. The market title, selection name, rules shown with the market and any related event information should be read carefully before placing a wager. Some markets may be based on the final result, while others may be based on a particular period, player, team, score, statistic or other stated outcome. A bet is settled according to the relevant market rules rather than assumptions about what the market means.
Results are normally determined using an official result, official data source or other reliable information relevant to the event. If an official result is corrected, amended or replaced, a settlement may be reviewed where the applicable rules allow it. Where official information is unavailable or contradictory, settlement may be delayed while the result is checked. A delay does not necessarily mean that a bet is void.
The scheduled date or start time shown for an event is provided to help you identify the market. Events can be delayed, interrupted, moved, shortened or completed under different conditions. The effect of a change depends on the rules for that particular market. For example, a market may remain valid after a delay, while another market may require an event to reach a stated stage before bets can be settled.
Common settlement outcomes
- A winning bet is settled in accordance with the accepted price and the applicable market rules.
- A losing bet is settled when the outcome does not match the selection or required conditions.
- A bet may be returned or voided where the market rules provide for that result.
- A dead heat or tied outcome may be settled under a dead-heat, tie or split-result rule, where applicable.
- A multiple or combination bet may be affected if one or more selections are void, unavailable or settled under a special rule.
- A cash-out or early settlement option, where offered, is subject to availability and the terms displayed when the option is accepted.
If a market is displayed with an error, including an obvious pricing, selection, event or description error, the wager may be reviewed under the applicable terms. Where an error is identified, the bet may be corrected, recalculated or voided in accordance with the relevant rules. Two Up Casino may also correct a settlement where a technical, data or processing error has affected the original outcome.
Pre-event, live and special betting rules
Pre-event betting is available only while the relevant market is open. Markets may close without notice before the scheduled start time, including when an event is about to begin or when information could materially affect the price. A bet submitted after a market has closed may be rejected or treated as not accepted.
Live betting is offered on selected events and may involve rapidly changing prices, delays in data transmission and temporary market suspension. The information shown during live betting may not be perfectly synchronised with the event. A live market can be suspended or closed at any time, including during significant moments, after a score or result-changing incident, or where the event status cannot be reliably confirmed.
A live bet is not accepted merely because a request has been sent. It must be confirmed by the betting system. If the event changes between submission and acceptance, the displayed price may change, the request may be rejected, or the market may be suspended. Bets accepted in error during an event interruption, after an outcome is known or at an incorrect price may be reviewed under the applicable rules.
Event changes and abandoned events
An event may be postponed, relocated, shortened, abandoned or completed at a different venue or time. The treatment of existing bets depends on the market rules. Some bets may stand when the event is completed within the period permitted by those rules. Other bets may be void if the required conditions are not met. A market may also be settled using the outcome of a completed part of an event if that is expressly allowed by the market terms.
Where a selection does not take part, is withdrawn, is not officially listed or cannot be identified with reasonable certainty, the related bet may be void or adjusted in accordance with the relevant rules. You should review the full market information before betting on events where participation, line-ups, starting positions or other conditions may change.
Account use, safer gambling and disputes
You are responsible for ensuring that your wagers are suitable for your circumstances and that you do not gamble with money needed for everyday expenses. Gambling should be treated as entertainment, not as a way to earn income or recover losses. Set a budget before you play, keep track of your spending and take regular breaks. Never chase losses by increasing stakes or placing additional bets to try to recover money.
- Only gamble when you are in control and able to make a clear decision.
- Set personal time and spending limits before using the service.
- Do not gamble while affected by alcohol, medication or other substances.
- Use available account control tools, including deposit, wagering, session or time limits where offered.
- Ask for a break, account restriction or self-exclusion if gambling is becoming difficult to manage.
- Seek independent support if gambling is causing financial, emotional, relationship or work-related problems.
Two Up Casino may restrict, suspend or close an account where required for security, verification, responsible gambling, legal or operational reasons. An account may also be reviewed if there is suspected misuse, unauthorised access, manipulation of a betting service, fraudulent activity, a breach of these rules or conduct that creates a risk to the integrity of an event or service. Any action will be handled under the applicable terms and requirements.
Questions and complaints
If you believe a bet has been recorded or settled incorrectly, check the bet reference, market details, accepted price, stake and result first. You should then raise the issue through the available support or complaints channel, providing enough information for the bet and account to be identified. Keep copies of relevant confirmations, screenshots and correspondence. A review may require time while event data, account records and system information are checked.
Complaints are considered in accordance with the applicable complaints process. If an issue cannot be resolved through the initial review, further escalation or an external dispute pathway may be available where required. Nothing in these Betting Rules removes any rights or protections that apply to Australian consumers under relevant law.
These rules are general information only and do not replace the specific rules displayed for an individual market or product. If there is an inconsistency, the applicable product terms and current website terms will generally govern the relevant wager. Two Up Casino may update these rules from time to time. You should review the current version before placing a bet.
